Literature comes in all shapes and sizes; its history is wide and its importance is wider still. From the first tales passed down by oral tradition through the medieval scriptoria and to the modern novel, stories are one of the greatest artifacts of our humanity. Join us for Literature I as we learn about and discuss the general history and philosophy of the literary arts. Learn from Aristotle, Sir Philip Sidney, C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, G.K. Chesterton, Umberto Eco, Philip Ryken, and many more what it means to have a Christian philosophy of and Christian love for literature.
