"docere, delectare, et movere"
There is a movement sweeping America. It is more than a movement; it is a rebirth. It is indeed the fourth most important educational renaissance to occur in Western Civilization. This renaissance is a recovery and reaffirmation of those great ideas, great texts, and great authors and artists upon which our civilization was built. This renaissance has been titled "classical Christian education." Our goal at The Classical College is to not only join this renaissance but to support it by training up teachers in the philosophy and practice of classical Christian education. This means teachers who purpose their careers, their learning, and their daily lessons around Cicero's ancient goals of instructing: "docere, delectare, et movere" (to teach, to delight, and to move).
